About this webinar:

In the week commencing 11th December 2023, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), will publish it’s fourth Health Effects of Climate Change (HECC) report. The report will explore new evidence and opportunities relating to the public health impacts of climate change.  It will cover a range of topics, including flooding, air quality, disease, food supply and temperature.

To mark the launch of the report, UKHSA will be hosting a webinar for interested stakeholders on Wednesday 13th December from 10am – 11am, to present the key findings in the report, with time for Q&A at the end.

Colleagues will hear from UKHSA representatives, including Isabel Oliver, Chief Scientific Officer, Lea Berrang Ford, Head of Centre for Climate & Health Security, and Caroline Tomes, Consultant in Public Health.

This event is open to all, including those working in central and local government, NHS, medicine, science, research, data, academia and the charitable and voluntary sector.

If you or a colleague are interested in attending this webinar, please register here. You can also use this form to pre-submit any questions you would like to ask the panel, but the Q&A function will also be open throughout the event for live questions.

You will be able to join the webinar at 10am on the 13th via this link (Teams Live). Please do also share with colleagues who you think may be interested in attending.
