Do school closures reduce community transmission of COVID-19? A systematic review of observational studies

This systematic review summarises the empirical evidence of the effect of school closures on SARS-CoV-2 transmission in the community.

PLEASE NOTE: These findings are interim findings that have been published on MedRxiv. In light of the rapid development of the evidence base they will be updated before publication in a
peer-reviewed journal.

Managing intensive care admissions when there are not enough beds during the COVID-19 pandemic: a systematic review

A systematic review which aims to review the evidence to provide insight into how to triage, manage ICU admissions and allocate mechanical ventilatory support during periods of high demand during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Needs of patients with COVID-19 after discharge from hospital

As patients with COVID-19 recover and are discharged from hospital back into the community, there is a requirement to understand the needs of this group in the first weeks and months after discharge.

This rapid evidence review and briefing utilises evidence relating to acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and influenza, as well as evidence relating to patients with post- intensive care syndrome to provide insight into what these needs may be.
