ADPH responds to Times Health Commission

This week, we have submitted our response to The Times Health Commission which has been set up to consider the future of health and social care in England.

Following a year-long consultation period, it will produce recommendations for reform in the following areas:

• The funding model for health and social care.
• GPs and pharmacists.
• Hospitals, waiting lists and maternity provision.
• Social care.
• Workforce — including recruitment, retention and training.
• Cancer.
• Obesity.
• Mental health.
• The role of new technology.
• Health inequalities.

The final report will be published in January 2024.
