New collection of evidence from NIHR on vaccine uptake

Vaccines save up to three million lives every year.

There are a range of factors that influence someone’s decision whether or not to take up the offer of a vaccine and different communities have different needs. As we saw during the pandemic, Directors of Public Health and their teams play a vital role in helping communicate the importance of vaccines and ensuring the everyone is able to access the right information.

The National Institute for Health and Care Research have today published a collection of evidence and research which demonstrates how engaging with different groups effectively can improve vaccine uptake.
